Gayming Awards head to Palm Springs for 2024

The Gayming Awards, the world’s only LGBTQ+ video game award show, returns in April 2024 where it’s heading to a new home in Palm Springs.

Building on the success of the 2023 Awards, the Gayming Awards are set to grow even more as it adds more to the line up including a networking brunch for nominees, industry folks and press ahead of the main Award show later that day.

In a drive to further increase the celebration of diversity and inclusion of nominees, the Gayming Awards have also launched a Community Diversity Council headed up by Raffy Regulus from NYC Gaymers. This council will sit alongside the production team of the 2024 Awards with a mission to focus on inclusion and equity for nominees and attendees.

Robin Gray, the creator of the Gayming Awards, said: “I’m so thrilled that the impact and reach of the Gayming Awards continue to grow, and this move to Palm Springs shows that we want to keep carving out our space in the global games industry as we come to its spiritual home in California. I’m also delighted we’ve appointed Raffy to head up the Community Diversity Council. Celebrating LGBTQ+ representation in its fullest form is important to us, and it’s crucial to have this Council reviewing some of our decisions and ways of working to ensure our event is diverse, equitable and inclusive as possible.”

The 2024 Awards will be hosted at the Margaritaville Resort Palm Springs. The awards are open to enter shortly for the following categories:

  • Game of the Year
