Men’s Health Week
June 9th-15th
This is an international event aimed at raising awareness about men’s physical and mental health. The Men’s Health Forum organises Men’s Health Week annually. The week encourages men and boys to be proactive about their health, and seek help for any concerns they may have.

Carers Week

This is an annual campaign to raise awareness of the challenges unpaid carers face, and to recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It also helps people who don’t think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.

Social Mobility Awareness Day
June 12th
This day aims to raise awareness of social mobility and encourage organisations to share stories and initiatives that support it. The theme for 2025 is #ShiftMindsets.

Global Wellness Day
June 14th
Global Wellness Day is celebrated annually on the second Saturday of June. It is a day dedicated to encouraging people worldwide to live a healthier and more balanced life. The theme for 2025 is #ReconnectMagenta, encouraging individuals to focus on reconnection – with ourselves, our communities, and the planet. “More than ever, this year’s theme encourages individuals to pause, reflect, and actively rekindle meaningful connections that enhance their wellbeing.”

Muharram (Muslim)
June 27th
Muharram is the first month of the Islamic calendar and marks the beginning of the new Islamic year. It’s also one of the four sacred months in Islam, signifying that warfare is forbidden during this time.
