World Alzheimer’s Month
World Alzheimer’s Month is an annual global awareness campaign held in September to raise understanding of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, which are caused by a range of factors and are not a normal part of aging. The campaign, organised by organisations like the Alzheimer’s Society, aims to combat stigma, educate the public, and encourage action. World Alzheimer’s Day also takes place on September 21st, offering ways to get involved, such as sharing information on social media using hashtags like #KnowDementia and #KnowAlzheimers, wearing purple, and supporting campaigns for better diagnosis and support.

World Suicide Prevention Day is an awareness day always observed on September 10th every year, in order to provide worldwide commitment and action to prevent suicides, with various activities around the world since 2003.

National Inclusion Week
September 14th – 20th
Founded by Inclusive Employers in 2013, National Inclusion Week is an annual event dedicated to celebrating inclusion and taking action to build inclusive workplaces. National Inclusion Week offers organisations an opportunity to spark conversations, inspire thinking and drive meaningful action around inclusion across the workplace.
Bi-Visibility Day
September 23rd
Bi-Visibility Day is observed annually on September 23rd to recognise and celebrate bisexual people, the bisexual community, and the history of bisexuality. The Bi Visibility website has resources and a list of events taking place around the date.
